CHCS paints windows at Akron Children's Hospital
On Wednesday, December 2, a group of students from Chapel Hill Christian School, North Campus went to Akron Children’s Hospital to spread some Christmas cheer. Six students from 4th, 5th, and 6th grades painted a series of snowmen across the windows in the Emergency Room. It was a great experience for the students, using their gifts to glorify God in this season of His birth among men. Sharing their gifts with the public, bringing encouragement to those having difficulties, really gave the students a sense of accomplishment and purpose. Those with whom we spoke while we were there seemed to really enjoy what we were doing. At CHCS, one of the ways we praise God in all we do is to look for ways to serve those around us with the gifts He gave us. We are most grateful for this opportunity to give to an organization that does so much for the community in which we live. We look forward to a lasting relationship with Children’s, enabling more of our students to be able to participate in this experience.
